About The Artist
As a child I would play in my Grandmother’s hoard of costume jewelry, the many beads bearing vibrant color and various texture. The thrill was very similar to adding sprinkles to ice cream, using Pyrex to make a mud pie, and learning the stain of Grandma’s red lipstick. Moving and traveling often throughout the years I have observed the dance of color & pattern across cultures, often incorporating discovered elements into my personal style and art.
Sharing playful color through jewelry and clothing is my soul’s honest pleasure. All of my items have been crafted in a curious, thoughtful, & resourceful manner with the best of intentions.
Most of my materials have been up-cycled from thrifted items, found at a road side yard sale, or gifted to me for a special occasion. Buying new is not my go-to. Because of this, I believe my art to be eco-conscious and approachable.
I hope Bees Knees makes it way to you or those that you love. I do believe you’ll find it joyful to accessorize your happiness - or you can always fake it till you make it.
